Salt Dough Maps

For the past couple of weeks we have been learning about Alton, NH. Our first step on our discovery of our community we found our homes, school, Mt. Major, Lake Winnipesaukee and assorted other ponds and hills. We located and colored all these locations on a paper map. Our next step was to create a "Salt Dough Map" from water, salt, and flour of Alton. We used toothpicks and paper flags to mark some of the important locations.
